which is adapted from this quote by Elsie de Wolfe:
"Be pretty if you can, be witty if you must, but be gracious if it kills you."
i loved it immediately and would find myself thinking about it when i was having a crappy day. so thus, the title of my blog, trying to be cheerful, and gracious in all things, good and bad.
